Jammu and Kashmir surround by two major Himalayan ranges, the Great Himalayan, lies snowcapped mountains and carpeted with trillions of colorful flowers and crystal clear lakes. Our one week long package ‘Kashmir Extravaganza Tour’ will give you the chance to explore the two different regions of Jammu and Kashmir State, across the several popular destinations such as Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg.
Itinerary
Day 01: Srinagar – Arrival
Arrival in Srinagar, meet our representative and proceed to the Hotel. Enjoy the lovely beauty of the nature engulfing Srinagar with magical charm and splendor. It is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, lies in the Kashmir Valley, which is located on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. The city is well known for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. Rest day is free at leisure, you can explore the city at your own while roaming around the market you can buy the authentic Kashmiri goods and test the local food. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar (Sightseeing)
After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Srinagar which include the Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background, you can enjoy the Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Visit Shankarachariya Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located at the hill-top, at the height of 1000 feet.En route the gardens, visit a carpet weaving factory. Return hotel at late evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Srinagar - Pahalgam Sightseeing
After early morning breakfast transfer to Pahalgam , which is also called Valley of Shepherds. Pahalgam is located at the distance of about 94 kilometers. The town is famous for its heart stirring natural beauty, wooded trekking trails and is also the central point for Amarnath Yatra. En-route, you can halt at Avantipur Ruins if time permits. The place has 2 temples, devoted to Lord Vishnu. Around 1100 years old, these temples were erected by King Avantivarman.
On arrival check in at hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 04: Pahalgam Sightseeing
Post breakfast, the day is at leisure or you may go for walks or pony ride to many picturesque spots around Pahalgam (not included on the package). The must see attractions are such as Chandiwari, Aru Valley and Betaab Valley. The initiating point of Amarnath Yatra, Chandanwari is an extremely scenic picnic spot where you can also partake in sledge riding. One of the spectacular destination, Betaab Valley is known as a base camp site for trekking enthusiasts. Aru Valley is a stunning village, renowned for its peaceful surroundings, floral meadows and lakes. You can also enjoy the rafting in Lidder River. Late evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Pahalgam - Gulmarg
After breakfast. Proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg. Gulmarg is an important tourist spots and is famous for its captivating natural beauty, cool weather conditions, Ski slopes considered to be best in the world and last but not the least for its natural 18 holes golf course, located at 50 kilometers from Srinagar. After arriving, check into your pre-booked hotel and have your lunch. Rest day is free at you own, you can explore the nearby locations at your own. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Gulmarg Sightseeing
Post breakfast proceed to visit Khilanmarg, thousands of tourists visit this valley to indulge in snow adventures in winters and enjoy the view of colorful flowers spread throughout the area in spring. Enjoy the Gondola Cable Car Ride (Additional costs), runs up to Alpather via Kongdoori. These are the longest and highest cable cars in Asia.In the evening, return to the hotel. Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 07: Gulmarg - Srinagar (Departure)
